Designer AZ once stood at the Acropolis in Athens, Greece. As the morning light spilled over the colonnades of the Parthenon, it wove intricate patterns of light and shadow on the stone steps. He was struck by the solemnity and warmth of that moment. Wanting to capture this sense of the sacred, he used a classical temple as his prototype, replicating details of the column orders and the triangular pediment, and embedded a soft light source. When the light is turned on, the Classical Temple Display Lamp becomes a vessel, allowing people to touch the serene glow of the thousand-year-old architecture right in their own homes.
